PHILOSOPHY

- INCLUSIVE -

My first exposure to dance was when I was 18. Not everyone has the luxury of having an early exposure to dance. Everyone is welcome to join dance classes, and open workshops regardless of prior experience level. When there is a performance opportunity, I do not believe in auditioning. Performance is an opportunity to build confidence, and everyone willing to join the required rehearsals should have access to this opportunity.

- FUN -

When I dance, I can forget all the worries in the world and just enjoy the hour of movement and expression. I want you to join the dance class because you enjoy it. There is no expectation following the class, and our motto is "shake the stress away".  Do not worry about mastering the choreography or performing flawlessly. At the end of the day, it's the journey that makes us grow as a person, as an artist, and as a community. Have fun and let loose

- CHARITY -

I am lucky enough to have a career that can comfortably support my life and hold dance classes as a hobby. For many, teaching dance is their primary method to sustain a living. Respectful to them, the costs of my classes will reflect the market rate, with exception to those who are economically disadvantaged. All class fees are non-deductable donations for public health through my foundation unless otherwise specified.
